In March of 2013 I was approached by Victoria musician Adrian Chalifour about shooting a live music video. The project would involve his band Towers and Trees, singer/songwriters Scotty Hills and Amy Wood, members of local band The Archers and jazz singer Maureen Washington. All were finalists of a music competition called CBC Searchlight.

Chalifour wanted to bring the local finalists together to showcase the local music scene. Chalifour chose the song 'Jasper' by Victoria musician Aidan Knight. The video was shot at Victoria Barber & Brand on a Sunday morning as one continuous shot. After a few practice runs, three official takes were recorded. The third take ended up being the final product.

The video gained the attention of Victoria's CBC radio station. Chalifour was interviewed about the project and audio from it was played on the air.
